I was watching BBC Sherlock, and I noticed there was a giant. There was also a giant in the 2009 movie.
"Oh," I said, "Isn't that a quaint coincidence?"
Then, the giant started strangling Sherlock. There was also a scene where the giant strangled Sherlock in the 2009 movie.
"Oh, I say," I said, "That is rather an uncanny coincidence, by Jove!"
Then Watson leapt on the giant's back. Watson also ends up on the giants back in the 2009 movie.
"Oh," I said.
"...OH HELL NO. WERE THEY TRYING TO CROSS-POLINATE?!"
So I decided to screenshot and point it out.
Now you have the useless backstory. Enjoy.

Yeah, I noticed that, too, since I have both on DVD...
But the gigant from 2009 talks more....
Maybe it was in Doyles books, and that's why both have it...
Or mybe the Sherlocks just talked too much, and they just tried to shut them up for a while before someone actually tries to kill them and calls it an 'accident'...
